Default Oil dripping from above pedals?

I switched to synthetic oil about 5 days/200 miles ago. My wife is driving the car today, she called me and said when she got to work there were a few drops of motor oil on the toe of her shoe. I haven't seen the car yet to verify this, but wanted to see if anyone has any ideas what this could be if it is really dripping in there...

It's not motor oil. It's brake fluid. Probably the clutch master or brake master cylinder leaking. I had to replace my clutch master cylinder about a year ago.

Just look under the dash and see which one is leaking, you should be able to tell pretty easy. There will be fluid around the rods that attach to the pedals.

this.

look by the pedals and touch the cylinder rods to see which one it is. they aren't hard to change either, just need the proper tools

just replace the clutch master cylinder. once its leaking, it is no good. brake fluid eats paint and will also destroy your carpet if left leaking long enough.

Yep it's coming from the clutch. Easy to replace this you say?

And assuming this just started, is it safe to drive 200 miles tomorrow before I replace it on Saturday?

(and yes I'm an idiot for not searching before posting the original question)

Mine was leaking when I got the car 2 years ago, I cleaned out the clutch reservoir and swapped out the dirty fluid a few times and it has not leaked a drop since. Dirty old fluid will cause leaks.

90% of s2k clutch master cyls leak.

Change the fluid often, leak will stop.
