I think that is the oil pressure switch, nothing to do with vtec. But I could be wrong.

Is it bad? And does it have anything to do with my oil consumption?

That is the oil pressure switch for VTEC. It has a little something to do with your oil consumption. It is not causing you to burn more oil but it is just oil pouring straight out the side of the engine. It is probably not leaking out of that connector on the pressure switch though. From the pics, it looks like it is coming out higher up, maybe the VTEC soleniod. It might also be coming from the corner of the valve cover but can't see from your pictures. Wash all the oil off everything and then drive the car a bit. You should be more able to find the leak with everything clean.

So should I buy a new vtec solenoid to fix some of the oil consumption?

Gasket, as in that weird shaped rubber that goes in the vtec solenoid?

No. The oil consumption is separate from this leak. Do as what was mentioned, clean the vtec unit and find where the leak is coming from, the unit is two separate pieces minus the pressure switch so there is multiple places it could be leaking from. Could be a loose bolt/bolts, pressure switch, or bad gasket. Or even the valve cover and not even leaking from the vtec unit. But the motor consuming oil is just that, the motor.

OK so I cleaned a lot of the dried oil before taking these pictures. But, while cleaning, I noticed that there was a lot of dried sediment all around the edges of the top and bottom half of the valve cover.

As I inspected some more, I noticed a possible bolt missing?

Iphone cracked. This is the best I can get.

I have the same issue. Looks like a bolt or screw is missing on mine too. I wonder if it's alright without it haha.
