Default Oil leak from the timing chain cover

I just picked up my first s2k with only 57k miles on it. Car runs great got it checked by a local Honda dealer before buying and they said that I have an oil leak from the timming cover which is probably from the seals...

Questions,
Is this really the case?
What would cause this in such a low mile motor? Is this a bad sign for the overall condition of the car?
Should I just get rid of this thing (lemon?)?

I searched and couldn't find anything, so I guess this is not common on these cars... On other Hondas this was a common fix to have done with the timing belt but this car is different.

Thanks for helping a newbe!

its not a lemon, seals do go sometimes.

if you already bought the car, i would go back to the dealer and try to get them to pay for it. if that doesn't work you may just have to buck up on your own.

good luck.

Sorry I need to clarify. I got it from a individual not a dealer but I took it to a dealer to have a look.

I will get a pic Monday but the oil is coming out the front of the cover where the main accessory pully is. Does that make sense?

Might be leaking from the headgasket area of the timing case. Get some pics up!

Can you give me an idea of cost? I already dropped it off at the shop for them to take a look first thing in the morning. I guess I would have expected the Honda deal thY looked at it would have noticed it was a headgasket...
