Default Oil Problem

I have noticed that my s2000 after 22000 miles burns more oil. I understand that the s2000 in a lot of cases eats it. Are there any parts that I can upgrade or replace that will cause less oil eating?

Thanks,
GR

Without more specifics, I'd say it's just a feature of the S and depends on driving conditions. Try a search and you'll find this is a heavily discussed topic.

P.S. Mods, please move to the general UTH forum.

If I read his question properly, he is saying he has seen a sudden increase in oil consumption. That could be a leak, excessively high oil pressure, worn oil guides or rings, etc. If everything checks out in the leak/oil pressure dept, try using 5w40 until you do that rebuild of the short block.
