Default Oil Temp gauge question

Hi,

Just purchased Defi BF gauges, oil pressure, oil temp and fuel pressure. The mechanic says drilling is required for the oil temp sensor. any ideas what exactly needs to be drilled?

Should i get the EGT gauge instead of the fuel pressure? Reason?

Thanks

You can either use a Greddy block adapter, that installs between the oil cooler and filter, or remove the oil pan and drill a hole for the sender below the oil level.

EGT and fuel pressure are pretty useless if your car is mostly stock. If you have a turbo, or SC it would make more sense to have EGT and fuel pressure.
