Default Only front braided lines OK?

does anyone know if it's ok to have only stainless steel braided lines on the front and not the rear?

i stripped a bolt while installing the rears and it seems almost impossible no matter what i do to get it off.

It won't hurt anything...

But get a line wrench for that nut that you stripped...if, and I'm sure that it is, the one that I think you stripped. Line wrenches are closed 3/4 of the way around the nut and provide the maximum contact with the nut...they are also called flare nut wrenches.

If the nut is REALLY stripped, it might be time to break out the dreaded VICE GRIPS . A little Liquid Wrench might help too.

It is likely one of those (too) soft fittings in the brake line that I know can be stripped even with the proper flare wrench. If you attack it with a plumbers tool be careful not to destroy it. It will require either replacement of the brake line or cutting and flaring a new fitting and neither will be easy.

Just braided lines on the front is OK, but get the stripped nut fixed!!!
The last thing you would want is to have that thing come off under the incredible pressure of hydraulics and leave you with no brakes on that wheel/part of the system.
Is the S2000 brake system a 2-part?
Part one- Front Left and Back Right, Part two- Front Right Back Left???

Jim, did Honda change it?

Here's what I have researched:

Power assisted 11.8" vented front discs; 11.1" solid rear discs,

4-wheel disk brakes incorporate a anti-lock brake (ABS) system. It consists of 4-speed sensors, one in each wheel. It uses a 3-channel system; each front has it

I think the whole reason it is stripped it the soft flare nut has bedded into the hard fitting. It is not going to leak. It is not an emergency.

Can you use a Dremel to cut the nut off?
