Default Opinions on no Cat

I just want to get you technical guys' opinions on removing the catalytic converter. Some say its the best bang for your buck and others say that it does nothing.

Thanks

Are you running a stock exhaust or aftermarket exhaust?

S2000-SOTO, you are going to replace the cat with a Test Pipe right? My friend has one, and the car really moves & it sounds great...The down fall is the CEL, I'm trying to get www.TestPipes.com to make one for me, that will have some of the catalytic converter sutff in the O2 sensor placing, so that the CEL won't come on. I'll keep you guys posted with new Info. They did one for my Friends 2003 Si, so I think they can make one for us at a low cost. We will see.

I think every thing will stay the same as stock, they will run secondary O2 sensor in the test pipe. They say no CEL, so let's see if this is true. I'll keep you guys posted.

But the current setup that is causing the CEL is the stock O2 sensor in the test pipe?

Check Engine Light. Look at the test pipe thread. I believe the Diablo mod will keep the CEL away.
