Default Options for lightweight and/or oversized valves

Can anyone help me out by pointing me towards some options for lightweight and/or +1mm valves for the F20C? I know that Spoon has some lightweight valves (that are pretty pricey). I know that Alaniz has some oversized SS valves (but I'm not sure how the weight compares to OEM). What other options are available?

Also, if you have the specs of the OEM valves handy (size/weight, etc), I'd appreciate that, too (I've searched, but haven't found it yet... though I'm pretty sure I recall reading it before).

Thanks!

Not sure... their web site lists Stainless Steel.
I e-mailed them to find out for sure.

The valves are stainless steel, retainers are Ti.

Sideways- Thanks for all of the info (especially for pointing out that any larger than +0.5mm valves will require boring the cylinder). I look forward to reading the writeup by UL.

Please do post all of the info for the valves (OEM and aftermarkets) when you have a chance. I'm very interested in that information.

I have received some PMs and apparently I was not totally clear in the above post. Joe did extensive porting and polishing and the oversized valves for me.

If you want standard sized valves, from his web site:

Resurface and hand lap head to customer specs, or up to .030 material removal. Final flow test with data sheet. Reassemble complete head. Final CC check. Includes valve seals

If you want the all out head like mine then:

Now to answer the original question:

Factory intake valves are 36mm and 51Gm
Factory exhaust valves are 31mm and 47Gm
Factory retainers weigh 11Gm

All weights are approximate with +/- 0.5 Gm due to the scale used. Sizes were hand measured with a micrometer.

My memory was wrong above, the ss intakes are 2 Gm lighter and the ss exhausts are 3 Gm lighter. I will modify the post.

Thanks for all of the details! That is great info!

When you state that the valves are 2g & 3g lighter, are you referring to your valves (the oversized ones) or his standard valves (standard size)?
