Overheating again
At the end of last season I had an issue where the temp was running really hot, nearly overheating. I changed the rad cap and thermostat and elevated the front and burped it pretty good. Was solid until I stored it for the winter. I took it out this week and for 2 days it was fine. On a longer easy drive tonight it started overheating again. In going to try to bleed it again Tomorrow but I don't know what else it could be. Any thoughts? I don't hear about s2000 water pumps giving out often but what else is there? My heat exchanger in front of the rad has been in the same spot for 5 years without issue
this is somewhat of an inaccurate statement, no reason that you can not get all the air out in one shot. I would check to see what the temperature difference between the 2 radiator hoses are. if one of them is cold and the other is warm its an indication of a faulty thermostat. if they are both hot than more than likely the vehicle is still air bound and you did not get all the air out on the original bleed.

Thermo is in right and coolant is clean. I bled it again today and got a lot of air out of it. Don't know how it got there cuz it was bled good before so maybe a pocket moved. Held temp in the garage but haven't driven it yet.

I use both bleeders with nose up and never had issues...keep both open when filling with coolant, once fluid is flowing from the rear cap it, continue filling until fluid pours from the front bleeder then close it, continue filling radiator then begin the burping process.
