So my friend has an ap1 03 with tracy sports exhaust and header and test pipe..

he is getting a code p0133 and he gets a popping sound kinda like fuel cut when he goes past 6k or so..(it will still go to redline).
he has a antifouler in the test pipe..

The popping is unspent fuel detonating in the header or cat.

Here's what Alldata (tech shop aid) says.

Check for a Temporary DTC with the scan tool. Is Temporary DTC P0133 indicated? YES - Replace the primary HO2S (Sensor 1). NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the primary HO2S (Sensor 1) and at the ECM.

I would say the O2 sensor is still getting too hot. Probably not a bad sensor at this point.

another edit* just read you're using the simulator, not backing the sensor off. Probably a problem with it reading on the computer.
