Default P0172 and engine stutter

Hey there

I've been having this problem on and off for the last 2 months or so.

The CEL came on during an autocross 2 months ago and the code was pulled to be P0172, which I believe is the the O2 sensor stating that I am running rich. After resetting the ECU the code disappeared only to come back on a few days later.

Done 1 day before CEL came on:
Changed : Trans/Diff/Clutch/Brake/Engine Fluids
Valve adjustment performed
Alignment performed

This CEL code continued to come on and off. Often times when the code is on, the engine would stutter when at a complete stop, with the rpms going down under 1000. It even completely stalled on me once at a stop light.

Other than the engine stuttering, it's not affecting the perfomance of my car to a great degree. We had a dyno day about 2 weeks ago, the other AP2s ran about 213-216hp, while mine only got 205.

I've read about the MAP whack and resetting the ECU, I did this 3 days ago and it fixed the CEL for a day. Came back on before my first lap at an autocross

So I read that perhaps the best solution is to purchase a new MAP sensor from HTG which includes the zip ties. Is there any other possible reasons why I am having this problem? I've checked the vacuum lines and they appear to be fine. I do have a K&N FIPK intake but I HIGHLY doubt that's the root of the problem.

Sorry for the long post, wanted to be detailed.

Should I just get a new MAP sensor bump?
