I've only tried it once and got the 5 blinks after installing one anti-fouler which didn't work. Two days ago I piggybacked a 2nd anti-fouler onto the first and I'm still waiting for the outcome. If I don't get a CEL in the next few days, I'll check again for the one blink.

Bumping an old thread....Does anyone have an answer on how to sucessfully fool an 06-09 ECU with anti-foulers to rid the car of P420? All I have heard is that an angled sensor will do it. I have no proof yet.

Kinda the reason I'm ready to stop posting in this forum. I've asked this question many times, and cant get a straight answer. I answer enough for everyone else.

I have an '06 with an HFC and ran the car for 3yrs before getting a P0420 code. I installed one standard antifouler which didn't work then piggybacked one more antifouler on top of it and have been running code free for close to a year.
It seems to me that from reading about this complaint, that it's a rather hit or miss with the later models of the S2000. I also think that the double anti-fouler will work more than 50% of the time. GL

Hit or miss. Even double anti-foulers with steel wool doesn't work on all 06+

Afaik, the only surefire way is flashpro. Sorry

I guess I can experiment with the lean/rich switching data, and keep altering the spacers and angle until the criteria meet that of OEM.

It can be done with spacers, I know it can. The flow and angle is critical.

Replica cat? Get a OEM one.
It's a brand new CAT, it can't be the CAT.
Honda is touchy when it comes to their CAT, OEM might make the difference
