Like I said. P0524 isn't for a S2000. The oil pressure switch for the idiot light isn't monitored by the PCM.

Yeah, I'd figured that out by grounding the connection. I just figured there was some other pressure sensor elsewhere. Once I get home, I'll dig into it again. Thanks for the help!!!

Do you have an accusump? Since the code is in error then there may not be any oil pressure problem. Have you checked the ground on your air pump? How's your secondary O2?

Nope, no accusump. This is on my street car. I'll check things out tomorrow evening with another scan tool and check all my electrical and vacuum connections again.

I took a look tonight and found that the electrical connection to the air solenoid was disconnected. After plugging that booger back in, I've driven it a bit and done several on-off cycles with no more CEL. I'm shopping for a new scan tool now, that isn't laptop-based. Thanks for your help, guys!

You need the a different scan tool that can correctly define the DTC.
Any recommendations? I'm ditching my laptop-based POS and shopping for a new scan tool.

Many of the cheap ones will do just fine. Mine is 3 years old and works like a champ. I picked it up at AutoZone. If you have another newer car you may want to pay the extra and get CAN support.
