so i searched on the topic a bit and it seems the fix to this can be a long and tedious process for a good mechanic, much less a simpleton such as myself

my question is it clearly doesn't seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things and it's alright to drive on it.

however, my question is if it comes on and i don't delete the code like i have been doing, i wouldn't be able to tell if something else went wrong (unless of course the car responds in some way) since the CEL light is already on right?
