Paxton vs. Roots
I've never been that much into superchargers, only admired the kind that sat on top of a huge Hemi or some other big V8 on dragsters. And with all the talk about the Comptech s/c using a Paxton style blower, I was wondering if someone could give me a little clearer understanding what the differences are.
I THINK it has to do with the actual mechanism, ie, the turbine in the Paxton, as opposed to the cylindrical spinning things inside a Roots style...could be way off on that, but I would like clarification...
Anyone? Bueller?!
Thx
