i find it very hard.. (and no comments on driving skill!!) to get a smooth transition from decelerating and accelerating, it seems no matter how hard you try for a smooth drive i get a sharp judder..
this is only from decelerating and re-accelerating, not gear changing etc..
i'm thinking along the lines of a throttle cable needing grease??
any common experiences??
cheers again,
phil.

I know this was a common complaint on the AP1 in the US. When the AP2 came out the throttle spring was changed so that it wasn't so "touchy".
Your car is a UK "AP2", which still has the AP1 F20 motor. I'm not 100% sure, but I'd bet it has the same throttle that the US AP1 had.
If that is true...then it is something you'll need to get used to.
You might meet up with some other s2k owners and have them drive your car to see if they find the same trouble you do with the throttle.

I felt that too... as you apply throttle no matter how hard you try for it to be smooth it always judders the car a bit... get a bit nervous on a down change and putting throttle on when going round corner as feel it'll judder 1/2 way through the corner and send me spinning....
Is there any chance an AP2 spring could be used on the AP1????

Not sure that the spring can be changed...you can swap throttle bodies perhaps.
I takes practice. You've probably been driving cars that had "mushy" accelerator pedals. You're driving a car that was "inspired" by race cars. Tuning was done by professional race drivers and they like responsive throttles.

yes i'm all for a responsive throttle just thought the jerkyness was down to something needing greasing.. will look into the throttle spring when i have some spare time though.. thanks for your input..
