Default Picked Up an 01 S...Suggestions?

Just got her last week with 14k on the clock from a second owner who actually only had it for about 3 months and 2k miles. No maintenance history so I'm planning to change out the trans fluid for GM Syncromesh, brake fluid swapped for ATE Superblue and LE 607 for the diff and of course Mobil 1 oil w/ Honda filter.

Any other suggestions to get our relationship started on the right foot? I want to take of this little car since I'll be flogging it on the weekends

Go through the owner's manual and read the scheduled maintenance section based on the "severe" parameters (worst case scenario). Make a list beginning from the start of the schedule of all things that should have been done. Go right up to the present time frame of your car's age. Nevermind the miles on it. In your case, time is the determining factor. Do those things. Then, your car will be caught up. Carry on from that point.

lol, yeah my first mod so far is a Ricks2k front plate holder! that's good for at least 10rwhp

The car didn't come with an owners manual, it's on order. Im' guessing the fluid changes should be good for now unless anyone else has other suggestions.

Underglow Underglow Underglow, depending on the color you can get up to 17rwhp

But seriously, I think the best value for money right off is the rick's 4.57 gearset. Have fun...

oh crap, thought the secret compartment WAS the lockable center glovebox! I'll go check when I get home. Keep your fingers crossed for me folks.

Here's the map I found

Finding the Secret Compartment in 3 easy steps...

1. Open center console "glovebox".
2. Locate top of box, in front of trunk release button, and feel for a plastic latch.
3. Lift up, unlatching top, and viola.
