Default Please help with AP2 swap into a BMW

I'm putting an 2007 AP2 into my 1973 BMW model 2002. The motor is mounted and runs but I'm trying to integrate the pedal. I bought a pedal and subharness in the picture but I don't know how to connect it to the ECM and the harness that came attached to the engine. Is there another harness that I need? Does the large connector in my hand (VSA Modulator - Control Unit connector?) connect to something that plugs into the ECM? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm wondering if you could adapt the earlier AP1 drive-by-cable setup to your AP2 throttle body? Maybe bypassing all the wiring and ECU?

I loved my old 2002Ti. What did you do to the original engine?

You will need to look at s2000 workshop manual specific to the 07 in the wiring diagram sections

Thanks, I've been studying the electrical manual but it's beyond my abilities. It goes into great detail of each electrical area but there isn't much of an overview of how everything goes together. From what I've read here, swapping to drive-by-cable is not an easy process. I still have the original BMW M10 engine but it was thrashed when I got the car. Here's where I am so far:

The connector with the orange lever goes to the ABS unit.

I built my Ti up to about 130BHP (same as the fuel injected Tii). Funny at the time, it seemed to have good HP. Good luck with your swap!

Ti's are very cool; nice twin Webers. Unfortunately, prices are super high and you can only do so much with 1970's technology.

Very cool build.
I’m doing almost identical thing to yours, (75 2002)
just further behind.

I have access to a semi built K motor (it’s in a part out car at my Father In-laws) & I picked up an AP1 trans with bad synchros last week.

K-swaps are supposedly hard for rear wheel drive. More power to you!
