Possible Emergency Brake problem

I have started getting a groan at first take off from the rear of the car after I replaced the right rear wheel bearing and hub. Only happens after it sits over night.Wheel bearing was pressed in correctly and I have rechecked tq on all nuts. It sounds like when the disk has rusted some and its eating that off but it has not rusted. I pulled the caliper on the right rear and it seems to work. Pins slide and the piston moves. The e brake pulls the springs but it did not move the piston while it was off but when I put it back together it seemed to operate as it should. The car holds on a hill with no issues. It seems to me the E brake is disengaging slow or not enough. Am I heading in the right way? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

So, spend a night without using the e-brake and see if it still happens. Report back.

Hand brakes are adjusted correctly?

That's what I'm going to do Saki GT. I went and got some wheel stops as I park on a hill sometimes.

Yes windhund116 I checked the amount of clicks by the book.
Thanks for the replies guys.
