Default Power Gain from I/H/E Combo

What are the proven power gains from a I/H/E setup. Typical setup would be AEM CAI with the Spoon Header and Exhaust. Do you see a Big Gain, or is is horsepower pennies for the price of the stuff?

pennies

10-15 RWHP is considered good for I/H/E combo.

Not really. Do some searches, you'll be dissapointed at the results (at least, if you're used to hearing about 10 HP gains just from an exhaust).

With your top up, you'd probably pull him even if your car was SLOWER than his.

For the money you'd spend on I/H/E for single digit horsepower gains, is it really worth it? Mugen Header/Exhaust/CAI/ECU would pay for a Comptech Supercharger. Hell, the Amuse Exhaust is TWO GRAND for a 44lb wieght savings, debatable hp gain, and enough noise to get arrested. (I like the noise part though). I still think the cheapest mod with the greatest speed enhancement isn't even a power adder: the J's final gear swap. For around a grand you can shave up to a half second on your quarter mile. Cheaper and it still does the same thing: lower profile rear tires on the stock rims.

Well, from someone who's spent enough to buy a supercharger, My Mugen header, Mugen Exhaust and Injen CAI have combined to lose me five HP.
