I have some really nice stainless piping laying around and was contemplating taking off the 2 stock mufflers and running a straight piece of stainless from the pre-muffler back to a single exit. I know this may not be your style, but I am mainly wondering if anyone has an idea of how loud this will be. I am not looking for a pissed off bumble bee in a pop can, more of a deep growl. I will be retaining my stock cat, just FYI.

What i did to my ap1 is just take the resinator off but still kept both stock mufflers. It makes a nice humming sound but nothing to aggressive...just make sure if you go one pipe with you might have to increase the pipe size to make up for the stock dual set up...

 

that will be loud. really loud. and def sound horrible. please dont do that to a streetable s2k. if its a track only car, i guess so, but if your gonna drive it on the street, dont deface the car in that manner.
