previous alignment was way off. screwed up car?
is it possible to screw up my vehicle mechanically by extreme caster? when i got my alignment redone, the tech (westend alignment) stated my caster was WAY off...
8 on my drivers side
4 on my passenger side
i know the maximum is 7... which is strange. any ill effects? metal to metal contact, bushing bindings, basically... premature failure to this section due to my previous alignment (extreme/excess caster issue)? appreciate it, thanks.

I don't think you screwed anything up, but the setting you had would cause the car to want to drift/pull to the right (very much so on a crowned road). Most alignment shops will try to set a little higher castor on the right side to counter the forces of crowned roads. But yours is way the opposit. A good setting would be 6deg left, 6.1deg right. Here is a good link to explain alignment settings:

Hopefully, you were sitting in the seat for your new alignment.

I don't believe most will let you in their work area from waiting lobby. Insurance liability issues.
OP, check your ball joint seals. They may have ripped if their angles were extreme. Other than that, you should be ok.
Oh, check the fender liners to make sure you haven't rubbed through.
