Default PRM Jet Stream Intake (or trumpet...you decide).

OK...what is this CAI set-up like? Couldn't find any info from the search engine. Apparently, these work wonders on WRX's. Looks to be very insulating friendly which is good. Can't seem to locate how the cold air is getting to the horn section.

CAI? doesn't look like a CAI to me. Look where the opening is - RIGHT by the radiator, the steaming-hot radiator. Should be called a HAI. =)

I'm sure it sounds great, but that doesn't tell me anything on the performance meter.

I'm not sure about CAI either, but I do know its getting the air from inside the fender. There's a 2"x5" hole in the side of the engine compartment. Its the same place the Comptech CAI get its air. Course the Comptech unit has a box around its intake pipe, filter, and that same hole.

IMO I think the one in your pictures will give you less HP than stock, but it looks cool. I'm going to get the Comptech one whenever they put it out???

Its odd anyway.
