Default PRM Question

I was planning on purchasing a PRM intake, and was considering spraying a 50 shot in the near future. Somone advised against the PRM because they said it does not flow great, and could induce detonation. Will the PRM cause detonation while on the bottle? Will a K&N filter fix this? Thanks.

I have the PRM and I love the sound at VTEC, I am currently looking at a HKS or a Comptech to play with a ducting kit I made - I will miss my PRM though! I have heard there is a K&N filter some have used with good results but I can't find out which one!

I actually have a Comptech right now that I would be willing to trade. Let me know.

Any more opinions?

Very possible, Let me see if the comptech will work with a ducting kit I am fabricating! I will pm you in a bit!

Not too sure what your plans on for the kit but the PRM horn is right where the Comptech one is, the Comptech just has a heat shielded box. If you combined that with a ducting kit (from the fake vent maybe?) I bet the difference would be impressive.
