Default Problem with Kyokugen lug nuts!!! Anyone else???

I used Kyokugen light weight lug nuts when I got my CE28's about a month ago.
Yesterday, I went to take my wheels off and a few of the lug nuts got stripped along
with the special tool used to remove them. When I returned to the place I bought them,
they gave me a new removal tool and told me that they knew about the problem with
the tool and gave me a new one!

Now, the problem is, I have 2 lugs on one wheel that are stripped and I can't remove them!!!

Has anybody else experienced this??

How do I remove these two stripped lug nuts???

Thanks!

Get a socket that is slightly smaller and hammer it on. That's what I had to do to get my locks off after loosing the key.

Now I have three locks stuck on 3 sockets.

yeah, they're too weak and prone to stripping.

Why dont you make the shop you bought them from get them off for you. They know about the problem so they should have some sort of solution

I've had the same problem with these lug nuts and the (revised and the older version) key they provide. Sorry to hear about your two stipped lug nuts, I hope you can get them out without having to hack away at the studs . Can anyone recommend another brand of conical type (sp?) lug nuts?

Spoon's aluminum lug nuts, I can recommend without a hesitation but they are rather pricey. About $6 each.
I never had any problem and weighs almost like paper.

Sorry to hear about the kyokugen lug nuts, I was going to try them after I sold Spoons' but now I may have to think of going back to Spoons'

Thanks Randy, I totally forgot about the spoonies. I guess the $6 per lug nut had something to do with it . I guess I should get me a set before I get stranded on the side of the road with lug nuts that I can't take off .
