Proper order of shim install?

Default Proper order of shim install?

hey y'all.

i just bought some 04-06 OEM front brake pads and it comes with a total of six shims. anyone know exactly the proper way they have to be installed on the pads?

Well...you've got:

2 black shims with five total tabs each. They go on the inside brake pad (piston side)

2 silver shims....they go OVER the shims mentioned above, on the inside pads

2 black shims with 3 tabs each....they go on the outside pad.
