Proper way to flush a cooling system rid of old coolant?
I don't think the advanced search works so here:

Hate to bring this thread back to life. But the link doesnt work, and I cannot find a DIY thread on draining the coolant. When I get back i will be replacing my radiator. So I will do a full radiator replacement thread, but I would love to have the DIY to go off of first.

Loosen the drain plug from the bottom of the radiator after taking off your rad cap.
Remove the 19mm drain plug from the block. It's near the header.
Replace/retighten drain plugs. Refill, bleed the air out, enjoy.
The procedure is actually in your owner's manual. It's very simple.
