And they are ON SALE. The $200 price drop is not trivial. If I were looking for a new S2000 header right now, it would be at the top of my list.

I put these heads on about 2 weeks ago and love them. Excellent buy. Pretty nice gains and sounds good.

what effect does this header have on the top end of an ap1? It just says it stops making power at 7600...does this mean it reverts the the usally hp after 7600?

Just curious what is meant by "stops making hp at 7600".
seems like a good buy at that price.

oh, and what effect would tuning have on the curves of this chart? I have an e-manage ultimate.

Tuning is what is needed to get more out of the top end. Looking at the dyno plot the A/R was very rich at the top end as the power curve fell off. If you leaned it out, more power is there to be had.

It doesn't. The differance in our header to stock is what we are talking about. So as I said, ours trails off when compared to the stock header.

It is all ECU and Tuning that makes the differnce in the power band. We make it with the stock ECU and trail off. That trail off can be overcome with Tuning using a thrid party piece of hardware. AEM EMS, V/AFC, ect.

i got it now. so with my emanage ultimate and tuning I could continue making power all the way up to redline ( or i think it's like 8700 ).

I wonder if i can find any dynos from people w/this header and tuning...i'd be interested to see the numbers.

this seems like a pretty good option then if i can keep making power up top after a retune.

So this would *look* oem with the stock heatshield over it too huh? which is always a good option for us cali people.

The reason i ask about the look is because I had a cop under my hood for a good 20min. looking for ticket reasons
