Default Pulleys!!!!

i know on some car's pulley's give a good amount of hp. I have been lookin around and it looks like not to many people do this. IF there is any info about this topic as for hp it would really help me out. And if u could include a company it would be even better

thanks.

I just installed the second set on my car. The first one was an experiment with a stronger aluminum without annodizing, resulting in some of the pulleys "fragging".
However the newest set I got was from Ricks (a sponsor on this site) and in a nutshell, takes 1.1lbs off the rotating mass. None are underdriven, and are exact duplicates of the stock pulleys (just lighter) resulting in the difference you would get from having a passenger get out of your car.

The pulleys are SC safe-old ones were not.
All pulleys come with bearings already pressed in.
Spacers or washers included
Looks great or can look stock of you choose the gloss black finish.

Hope this helped.

I have the Rick's as well. I can't really judge and performance increase since I put on a SC at around the same time.

They couldn't even come close to making that much of a difference.

I had the pulleys that came out before Rick took over manufacture/distribution. Truthfully, it doesn't make much of a difference, right after putting them on the throttle feels a little lighter and easier revving. You get used to that feeling in about 30 minutes of driving. Money's better spent elsewhere unless you like the colors.

Does the stock crank pulley have a harmonic damper? I'd be leary to replace it with one that doesn't.

Lighter pulleys eliminate stress to the engine so you will notice engine accelerate faster and revs a bit faster.
