Default pulling to the right

hello everyone

i picked up my s2000 this weekend and am loving it. the only question i have is; when i am driving at a constant speed (say 50mph) and put my foot down to accelerate, the car pulls to the right and then stops as i take my foot of the pedal. is this the tracking? i have never had a RWD car before so this is all new to me

any help would be much appreshiated

Steve

i hate garages sometimes, you would think that they would sort tyre pressures out. i will sort that tonight and see if it fixes the problem. is there anything else it could be?

It's highly unlikely to be anything but a tire issue.

Any time I have ever had this problem, is because the tire pressures were not exact. My alignment is off slightly as of now, and with proper tire pressures I still drive straight.

If you have different tires, it is absolutely the issue. This is a known problem with the S2k. If the two rear tires, or two front tires are not in tread depth, or especially the type of tire it will cause pulling.

If the pulling is constant, or under braking it's the front tires, if the pulling is under acceleration, it's the rear tires.

This has happened to me several times when I got into buying used high perf tires.
