Default Pulsing Vibration

I have a 2000, about 112k miles. Just replace motor mounts and all 4 diff mounts. 2 months later now, (1) I felt a very noticeable vibration pulsing on for 1 second and off for 1 second, repeating constantly. This happens in all gears, under acceleration, and while cruising. I haven't payed much attention to speed, but it's usually between 30 and 60, but I haven't payed attention past that speed. It may be too slow and subtle of a pulse below 30 mph. It definitely feels like it's coming from the rear. I already had vibrations under acceleration, so I'm going to replace the CV buckets soon either way, but I don't think that will solve this issue, since this is a complete new vibration.

(2) Also, recently, I've been getting abnormal vibrations when stopped (especially when I let the car warm up). These vibrations cause the hood to make a pretty loud and annoying noise, shakes the back window (but even if I hold the glass, it won't stop vibration, which confuses the f@#k out of me), and shakes the seat a tiny bit.

Two more issue I'd love to fix... (3) Immediately after I replaced my Diff Mounts, I heard a clunking kind of noise every once in a while. It hasn't happened in awhile, but I don't want to neglect it as it may still be an issue. (4) Also immediately after I replaced the diff mounts, my shift knob will make a terrifying, loud, high pitched shriek from mini vibrations. I've messed with the shift knob a bit since, but it hasn't helped at all. Any ideas?

Just kidding, I forgot about one more thing. I only notice this once in a blue moon: (5) If the car is off and I turn the steering wheel back and forth, I can hear what sounds like the driveshaft turning and clunking into a position, then back the other way and clunking into that position. Yes, I know you can't turn the driveshaft with the steering wheel, but that's exactly what it sounds and feels like when I was messing with it when replacing my clutch a few months ago.

I'm a college student, so lets start with the less expensive ideas first.

Everything not described is stock, except for Air Filter and BC N+ Coilovers.

I do drift/powerslide whenever I get a chance to safely do so.

If anyone lives around North Peoria or North Phoenix and would like to feel it for yourself in person, please do. It's always good to have a second pair of hands.

EDIT: I numbered each inividual issue for ease of reference.

might be the diff itself. Do you launch the car while doing these power slides and drifts? the vibration when stopped could be from the new mounts. did you replace them with OEM or are they upgraded mounts? check your rear tire pressures and make sure the wheels are balanced.

Is there any way to fix the diff cheaper than replacing it? If you mean gas it while powersliding/drifting, then yes, I feed the engine. New mounts are aftermarket. Motor mounts are Megan Racing and Diff Mounts are Innovative. All are rated 65A, IIRC.

I'll check the pressure later and get them balanced (I'm pretty sure I'm missing a few weights). My rear tires have almost no tread. I don't know why I haven't replaced them yet, but I will very soon. I don't think the tires will fix all my vibration issues though. It might help, but not solve it.

Turns out the psi was 25-25.5 all around. I just pumped it up to 32 rear and 35 front, as I've read some people prefer that set up. I'll post again tomorrow with an update.

Pumping up the tires did nothing for the vibrations. I found the problem when installing my exhaust the other night though. The Nut and Washer for one of my differential rear mounts wasn't just gone. I don't know how that would have come off, considering I torqued it down to spec, which was somewhere close to 75 or 90, but I just ordered a new set. I found them for $1 and $3 with $3 shipping on hondapartsnow website, instead of over $30 together at another website. It's definitely worth shopping around for 5 minutes, even when your wifi loads 1 pixel per minute.

All-in-all, if you have pulsing vibrations, check your differential mounts.

Try a "Road Force Balance", often even a typical balance is not enough. I had the exact same prob and road force balancing fixed it.
