Default Question about my Tail Lights..

Hey, i just recently bought my car and ive gotten pulled over twice now for what the officer says is a "broken tail light" upon closer inspection its obvious that it isnt broken, but just does not have the red tint as my left one does.. i've included pictures.. is there anything i can do other then just buy a new right tail light? and how does that even happen? The tint vanishing?

Thanks for your help

yea, common problem on early ap1's. You might get a goodwill replacement but if not, non faded tails can be picked up for $100

wasn't this a recall issue where the MY00 tail lights would turn pink

should be a free fix?

This is a 100% free fix to you. It was a safety recall by Honda so the dealer has to provide you one.

Get it fixed asap.
