Default Question about Tein Flex

I'm currently running with 18inch Volks and Tein Flex with EDFC (10 front/10 rear). When going over minor bumps on the freeway, it sounds like the car's tires touch on some part of the car making a loud grinding noise.

Has anyone else experienced this?

maybe you're rubbing? increase your camber...what width tires do you have and what offset rims? how much are you lowered? these all have a factor in how much negative camber you would need to run, or you can have your fenders rolled.

i have tein flex and dont have this issue but i can tell you ....its damn close when compressed. you are probably too lowered... dont change camber (too many side effects) just higher it. I dont rub 0-16 setting.

Yeah this info will help us figure out what you may be able to do.

check the plastic mud flaps in front of the wheel wells...they might be scraping.

i too had a similar sound thinking it was the tires hitting the fender, ended up being the mud flaps.

do you mean the front strake?

that thing actually is an aerodynamic piece that direct on coming air to go around the tire instead of hitting it face on.

back to the original question, when your wheels are off the ground can you move the spring?(are they seated when fully extended, if so you adjust the coilover wrong)

My front strakes hit the ground on mine when I have a passenger with me and I'm not even lowered.
