A question for everyone with FI
When you put a turbo/supercharger on the S does it change the speed to which you can reach in any given gear, or does it just make you get there a lot faster? Does first still take you to 44 mph, or does that number get raised? For replys please state which type of FI you have and if anyone with a technical explination for why it does what it does cares to chime in that would be great. Thanks.
What you really notice with FI is that the power keeps growing as you rev thru the gears. You really have to watch your shifts. And I find the best shifting point with my set up is at 8500rpms so I'm actually shifting sooner than some.
So in that way it changes a bit...The 444 gears do change your shift points compared to mph substantially.

fltsfshr,
I was wondering if you could elaborate on how 8,500 RPM is your best shiftpoint. I have a similar setup as you. I always thought that since with the Vortech it keeps boosting till redline, as far into redline before hitting the limiter was the optimum shifting point.
Thanks in advance.
