That's because the s2000 coefficient of drag is so awful

and here goes a bit of trivia: do you know how much deceleration you get if you lift the foot off the throttle on an F1 going at 300km/h?

answer: about the same as you if slam the brakes on an S2000. That's what I call "a very quick loss of speed when lifting off the accelerator"...
