Default Question on J's Torque Damper..

i just recieved my J's Racing ETD "Engine Torque Damper" and tried to install it. first off, i took off my cusco cf strut bar and replaced it with the strut plate that i recieved from AJ Racing. funny thing is..i found out that its not fitting correctly. the fuse box bracket "thing that holds the fuse box up" seems to be in the way. no matter which direction or way i turn it, it still wont clear the fuse box bracket. now im wondering if AJ Racing sent me the wrong Plate?? so for who that has install it before, please let me know if this is the right plate and how exactly im suppose to install it. any info would really help.

You have to remove the stock fuse box bracket from the body of the car. It's spot welded on. I pulled mst of the bracket off by bending it, then cut the weld with a small chisel. Repaint the area so it doesn't rust.

It's as correct as J's made it, which means it may or may not fit very well.

You can use a chisel and hammer to notch the fuse box bracket off and that will take about a minute to do. The rest of the componets will go on perfectly.

He'll have to cut a hole in the OEM heatshield as well. Unless, he bought the J's heatshield...right?

Look for a picture of it in the instructions and read what it says next to the pic...
