Default Question for Mugen Hardtop Owners

I just bought a used HT and was wondering if the electrical plug on the left rear catch has to be plugged in. If so, what is it for? Is the subharness necessary to get?
Also, will I need new bolts or can I re-use the existing ones?

Thanks

Since the Mugen top doesn't have a defroster, I'm betting that's the circuit to prevent the soft top from being lifted with the hardtop in place and causing all sorts of ruckus.

Don't know anything about the bolts.

According to the Mugen instruction, I don't see anything about the electrical plug on the left rear catch. The HT, however, has two huge "stoppers" that barely sit on top of the lowered softtop when in place, preventing the softtop to be accidentally raised.

Not sure what you meant by "subharness".

I would get new bolts which are called for in the instruction and longer than the existing ones.
