Default Question on which oil to go with.

I have been driving my car more agressively since the SC and I know you are supposed to change the oil more often. I currently use Honda oil from the dealership. Thanks.

I've been using Mobile 1 since my 10k oil change in April. No SC, just stock.

If memory serves me correctly, I recall my Vortech manual saying to go with a good synthetic after the install. I've been using Mobil 1 since long before the S/C anyway, so nothing new for me. I change oil and filter every 3000 miles.

I've used Mobile 1, Castrol Syntech, and Amsoil and they are all good choices, SC or N/A. My personal preference is Amsoil (Euro 5W40). There's a lot of literature online (here at S2ki), with expert opinions from Road Rage.

I would likely go with a 5w40 also. It should be able to deal with the additional thermal load of the SC.

Amsoil Euro and Delvac1 are the best choices in that viscosity.

Delvac1 is available at avlube.com
Amsoil is available from jobbers/distributors or by mail from amsoil.com

You can't go wrong with the Amsoil 10W30 because it's one of the most robust 10W30 oils out there (IMHO). I use Amsoil 5W30 in the colder months and just started using the 5W40 this summer. The 5W30 is very similar to the 10W30, just a smidge thinner.

Everything I've read about the Delvac is good to go. It just depends on where you are, which is more convenient, and ultimately how much you want to spend.
