Questions about the 4.77 gears

Default Questions about the 4.77 gears

Am i gonna need to install a perfomance clutch if i install the 4.57 or 4.77 gears? I appreciate any info you guys can give me.

They have nothing to do with each other. The answer is no.

No. "Gears" do not increase your engine's output. They simply use the power and torque more efficiently (mechanical advantage). If anything, having gears allows everything upstream of them to work easier and with less stress.
