Default Quick question about rotors

I have an 01 s2000. Front rotors are basically done. Whoever had this car before me definitely beat it up at some autocross or road course events. Anyways, my buddy just changed his rotors out on his si. For god knows what reason as the car has 20,000 miles on it and isn't the least bit beat up. He'll give me his rotors for 50 bucks, all 4 of em (only need 2 fronts)

Anyways, does anyone know if the 06 civic si has the same rotors as the s2000?

I'm not sure if they'll fit, but i do have to say it probably won't hurt to see if they do.

Anyone have any input? I have an si as well, so i think i'll buy these no matter what as extras, but i'd use them on the s2000 if i knew they'd work.

The rotors have different part numbers but the pads are the same.

Hmmmm, so that means they're at least the same thickness and diameter.

Now the offset on the hub could be different right?

*seems after a search that the hub is a different size, thanks for any help guys

Reading the racing section, I found they get new front rotors fairly cheap.
Just get new ones, OEM or other.
Its the brakes you know...

guys, 60 each... how is this cheaper than 50 dollars for barely used rotors... read all 4.

cmon now, you're telling me to spend more than double.

I will because i have to, not because you tell me it's cheap.

I would rather pay $60 each for rotors that do fit the S2k than $50 for 4 (or 100) that don't fit.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, you shouldn't have bought an S2000 if you could't afford to do maintenance..

I have a set of rotors off my '01 S2000 for sale. All 4 for $80. They have never been resurfaced so they have plenty of meat left. I am also the original owner of the car.
