Default Quick question for the experts

Hey guys!! Had a question for you. I just got my RPY S2K last week, drove it on the weekend, and it has been sitting in my drive way (with a water proof cover of course since I don't have a garage) since then. I work for a company that has provided me with a company vehicle to and from work, but since I get home kind of late sometimes, I don't usually use the S during the week. Would having the car parked from Monday to Friday evening, and then using it on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays only have a negative effect?? Please help as I am not too experienced with cars. Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't. This time of year, mine will stay inside under a cover for a month or so before I can take it out. Not a big deal.

This makes your car sad.

You should tell the company they can have their car back and drive the S every day. it's better anyway.

I don't see a problem. I have a couple cars that won't get driven for weeks at a time. Best to make sure you warm the car up fully when you drive it on the weekend, and certainly the last time you drive it before it sits for the week.

Ask your company if they will take the car back and pay you the alloted price to drive your own car. If you are not carrying people or equipment around they might consider it. I have friends of mine who have worked out the same deal.

Negative effects:

1. May get stolen while you are not around parked outside.
2. If cover holds rain, it will oxidize your paint.
3. Enjoyment level considerably decreased on days when not driven.
