I have heard good things about the spugen....that is the only one that comes to mind.....otherwise you can get one and use a silencer in any of them....

I have a set up like that (Skunk2/Invidia) but you loose any HP gains with a silencer insert which sorts of defeats the idea. I was going with a Spugen, but I e-mailed Spugen with some questions and got NO reply. If you can't even answer my questions, you'll NEVER get my money.

Going from my J's Racing single equipped car to a friends Amuse single equipped car, I was amazed at how quieter the Amuse was. I have no experience with any other singles, however.

I have heard J's... evil loud

I just installed my Spoon...and IMO it is quiet. Of Course not like stock, but put it this way, I cruised with my friend for 2 hr the other day...never had a problem talking, and exhaust includes silencer...I will never need to use it
at3-4k rpm it has boominess...depending on how much throttle you are giving it
but with CC set at 65 on highway..not bad AT ALL...and that is with windows and top up
Spoon is rather inexpensive compared to others(I paid 740 to my door from IPS Racing), and includes silencer and test pipe
Sponser have them
my vote...Spoon

Try PM'ing AHHVTEC (Duc). I had a sinlge outlet Spugen and it was so quiet that I had to get rid of it 'cause I wanted a louder exhaust. Just mention to Duc about my first exhaust and he should be able to tell you what muffler I had.

Well, that is what I am looking for. I do not mind pretty loud, but do not want really loud since I am pretty sure my last exhaust (skunk2/Invidia, single outlet) actually damaged my hearing. It also had a bad drone from 3-4k which I did not like and my wife hated. Can you have a conversation without yelling when the silencer is removed with the Spoon N1 exhaust? The droning can be bothersome but I already know how to modulate the throttle in order to reduce it. Thanks.
