so I was driving to San Bernardino on Saturday when I decide to put the windows down and turn off the A/C. I didn't see it was overheating til the meter was at 5 bars. I immediately shut off the engine and pullover to the side of the freeway, as I'm coming to a stop, something pops, and a bunch of white smoke and radiator fluid bursts out. Well apparently the genius mechanic that I had taken my car to previous because my radiator fan wasnt working, mickey mouse'd the shit out of it and hooked it up to the A/C fan, so it only turns on when the A/C is turned on. My upper radiator hose popped,like nothing I've seen before. I'll see if it's still in the trash and post a pic.

I went back to the mechanic and told "WTF", and he's said he'll charge me $200 to fix the problem. I dont know too much about the electrical stuff on my s2k but anyone have ideas? None that cost $200.
