Default Random Engine Misfire codes

Hello everyone! I have bad news and was wondering those who have experienced something similar or are very knowledgeable could help me out.

So I was driving my S2000 back home from work when all of sudden my car started acting weird. I was around 6-7k RPM and my car just started flashing the CEL and was running pretty bad. No knocking noise or any strange noises but just ran horrible. I pulled out the code reader I have and it has code P0300, P0301, P0303.

I’m really bummed out because I love driving the S2K. It’s an AP1 on the higher side of miles 170k. I had just done a fresh oil change the day prior with a Takeda CAI. If anyone could give me some ideas on what it could possibly be or what could of caused it it’d be really helpful! I know AP1s are notorious for weak retainers so it might be a bent valve?
Thanks all.

I had the same issue a couple of years ago. P300, P301 and P304...

Car had 152k miles at that time.

Tracked it down to a bad fuel injector.

Default Ap1 Random Misfire

Hello everyone so I just bought a 2000 Honda S2000 recently and it had a flashing CEL that had multiple misfire codes on but it ran reletively fine so I rode around on it like 30 miles. After that it got a really bad misfire and barely ran and had low compression in cylinder one. I changed the head gasket, got the head tested and machined, and adjusted valves. After that still ran bad and now has low compression in cylinder 4 when it warms up. When it’s cold it has around 170 psi which is about how much all the rest have, when it warms up it has like 105 psi. Don’t know what to do, Please help

Have you done a leakdown test? Or just put air in the cylinder? Listen for where air is escaping.

I have done a leak down test intake and exhaust is fine. I happens intermittently the runs fine for a little and then misfires for like 10 seconds and then runs fine again etc.

do a valve adjustment. My EM1 cleared misfire codes after a spec valve adjustment and distributor rebuild.

I wonder why a bad fuel injector would cause MULTIPLE misfires as lofetodrive2000 said.
