Default Rattle over uneven surface

Good morning,

I was driving with another fellow s2k owner and he told me that he had a rattle developing at the rear of the car (left side). I had my insta360 and fitted it underneath the vehicle and recorded the following:

Any idea what it could be? It sounded like a suspension rattle when I was in the car.

Exhaust seems to move around more than it should. Grab hold of it, and man handle it around, especially left and right, see if you can make it hit anything.

If so, culprit. Now look for a missing or disconnected hanger. Use silicone spray to slide them in place or remove.

Could also be swaybar end link. Grab it, see if any play. Often they feel tight but still can make noise. But that much noise you can probably feel.

Could also be something like loose shock upper mounting nuts. A little difficult to get to, but not that bad. Behind trunk liner, and under fuel filler tube. Need to swing filler out of way to get wrench in there, but could probably get fingers in there to feel if they're loose just removing liner.

Ok...we had a good look and check all the suggestions above and none are the source of the rattle. However, I have noticed that the shim on the right hand side brake caliper (see pic, the one on top of the pads) is missing on the left side (rattling side).

Will install a new one and report back.

Yes...it was the brake pad shim that was missing. Fitted a new one and now it does not rattle or clunk.
