Rattle in the tranny?

I just bought a s2000 yesteday and car is perfect but my dad said driving it home he noticed a rattle when he downshifted and when he acclerated. i dont know if its the CAT or he heat shield to the cat or something in the tranny please help.

Cat is a very common one.
