Rattling Rear Light?
Hello
My 52 plate recently developed a very annoying clonking rattle coming from the back left of the car.
On closer inspection from my local Honda garage it appears there's a link between the rear headlight and the suspension which has broken. Even better was that they said they need to replace the entire unit rather than just the linkage which would be

I don't quite understand what youre talking about. It's possible that I'm not familiar with the terms you use, but it just doesn't make sense.
What is a "52 plate"? If you're referring to a car that's not an S2000, you need to post this elsewhere.

I think he means that the tail light is attached to the body. I suspect he is talking about his AP1 S2K. A 52 plate indicates that the car was first registered between September 2002 and April 2003 or some such dates. Basically it's like us saying "my MY03" (amazing what a 15 second google search reveals).
Perhaps the mounting point on the tail light assembly is broken off?

First off, Tim, the tail light assembly looks like this:

Rear quarter panel and rear panel kind of look like this:

I've never removed my tail lights (plus I have an AP2) but i looks like they just bolt in from the inside of the boot (dig that crazy English English). Perhaps someone more familiar can chime in.

Thanks for the "English lesson". That makes more sense.
I had a rattling tail light assembly on an old car I had years ago. I can't remember the details, but for some reason I couldn't tighten it to the frame because something was cracked. Fortunately, epoxy sticks well to plastic so you should be able to fabricate some way of securing it. You may want to remove it and see what the problem is. If you need help, take some pictures and post them.
Yep, as far as I know. The Hot Licks Blues Festival takes place every year. I was there last year.

Hey Slalom, is there going to be a Granville Blues Festival this year?
