Real High pitched whine in rear while idleing. Just started at stop sign today.

Have a SC with about 2K miles on it and the car being a 2000my only has 11K on it and still have OEM clutch. Do not see any thing leaking. Any one have any info PLEASE HELP!

 

You need NO help. It is your high pressure fuel pump that was put in when the S/C went in. The whine is sporatic and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. I can go weeks and weeks with no whine and then it'll whine for no reason. This has been going on for about a year since my Vortech went in. Many other S/C owners have remarked about the same thing.
