No not dimmer controls! Dealership replaced bulbs but have suggested I need a new dash. To be honest they are not very impressive where I live so have little faith. I've owned the car since new(2004). They are suggesting that the lcd/led screen is burning out many thanks!

I'm not sure if 04's has this problem, but there was a TSB for my car a while back for the alternator diodes. The leakage was enough to have my dashboard flickering at idle.

Maybe you have a worse case that's just permanently dimming the dash.

The whole point of using LEDs is they don't wear out (over the life of something like a car).

Dealership is being dealership, no clue, replace something expensive, see if it fixes it, make you pay even if it doesn't. Find some way to blame you.
