I recently put my car back together, after breaking a valve and almost having it drop... but for some reason my valvetrain, or so I think is very loud. So loud that if i'm inside the car with the windows up, I can hear noise. I have adjusted the valves 3 times now to the factory spec and the noise stays. Am I missing something?

I had the pan off a few weeks ago while putting the car together and oil was clean. Has a new OEM headgasket, and the same Supertech valve springs and retainers and ballade tct that I've had since n/a. Also have 1300cc injectors but I don't think they would sound this loud. I'll include some videos, any help and insight is appreciated.

 

 

Having holes cut in your hood doesn't help.

 

Sounds like it has aftermarket cams. Does it? The valvetrain gets a lot louder with em.

When you set the valve lash the engine was completely cold, right?
